What is an Environment?
An environment is essentially a workspace, this is where all tokens, assets, objects, rules, and feeds are associated. Environments can be used to segment data easily and effectively and can have one (1) or more organizations associated.
Out of the box Stairwell provides read access to several environments to every organization.

About the environment identifier (ID)
The environment ID is the unique identifier for your environment. Your Environment ID is used during the Forwarder installation process, in Swell to identify the environment you're taking action in, and for the Stairwell API.
