This browser extension automatically detects and highlights MD5, SHA-1, and SHA-256 hashes on any webpage. When a hash is highlighted, you can right-click it to navigate to our Stairwell app for an in-depth analysis.

Instructions

Google Chrome

1. Open this link in Chrome and install the extension.
2. Once installed, you will see the extension icon in your browser's toolbar. The extension is now active and will highlight MD5, SHA-1, and SHA-256 hashes on any webpage.

Microsoft Edge

1. Open Edge and go to edge://extensions/
2. Enable the option "Allow extensions from other stores" at the bottom left.
3. Open this link in Edge and install the extension.
4. Once installed, you will see the extension icon in your browser's toolbar. The extension is now active and will highlight MD5, SHA-1, and SHA-256 hashes on any webpage.
