Supported Identity Providers
The identity providers Stairwell supports for SAML single sign-on, with a setup guide for each, plus the generic option for anything not listed.
Stairwell handles single sign-on through WorkOS, which manages the SAML integration with your identity provider. Each provider below links to its setup guide.
| Provider | Protocol | Setup guide |
|---|---|---|
| Auth0 | SAML | Auth0 SAML |
| Azure AD | SAML | Azure AD SAML |
| CyberArk | SAML | CyberArk SAML |
| Duo | SAML | Duo SAML |
| Google Workspace | SAML | Google SAML |
| JumpCloud | SAML | JumpCloud SAML |
| Microsoft AD FS | SAML | Microsoft AD FS SAML |
| Okta | SAML | Okta SAML |
| OneLogin | SAML | OneLogin SAML |
| PingFederate | SAML | PingFederate SAML |
| Rippling | SAML | Rippling SAML |
| Salesforce | SAML | Salesforce SAML |
| Generic SAML 2.0 | SAML | Generic SAML |
My provider is not listed
Use Generic SAML 2.0, which works with any identity provider supporting the SAML 2.0 standard. Being absent from the table above means there is no provider-specific walkthrough, not that it will not work.
For providers beyond this list, the full WorkOS integrations directory has more.
What happens next?
Complete the configuration on your identity provider's side first, using the guide for your provider. Then return to Stairwell to connect it, which is Configure SSO.
Doing it in that order matters: the Stairwell side asks for values your IdP generates, so starting in Stairwell means stopping halfway to go and get them.
What should I read next?
- Configure SSO, for the Stairwell side.
- SSO and Authentication, for how sign-in fits with roles and tokens.
